An incredible story was revealed on Monday afternoon in Thessaloniki. A man lived for days in an apartment with his dead sister in the area of Agios Dimitrios.
The tragedy began to unfold just before 15:00 when local residents called the Police about a man throwing objects from the balcony onto the street. Police officers from the White Tower Police Department immediately went to the scene, while it is noted that there was a prosecutor’s order for the person to be confined in a psychiatric clinic.
According to reports, the person initially refused to cooperate with the officers. Finally after an hour, he decided to allow the police to enter his apartment.
As reported by thestival.gr, when the police entered the apartment, they found themselves in front of a hideous sight. They found the man’s dead sister covered with blankets and sheets. According to the first data, the woman had been dead for several days.
Police officers from the Crimes Against Life Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate as well as a medical examiner rushed to the scene. At the moment, all possibilities remain open regarding the circumstances of the woman’s death. The brother of the unfortunate woman was transferred to a psychiatric clinic in Thessaloniki.
