Classes are being held via distance learning today, Tuesday in some schools whose operations have been suspended due to the “Avgi” bad weather, as the Ministry of Education made known in its announcement yesterday by decisions of the Risk Assessment Committee of the Ministry of Education, or by decisions of the relevant municipalities.

In particular, schools will not operate, in the Municipalities of Mandra-Idyllia, Fyli, Acharna, Dionysos, Kifissia, Oropou, Penteli and Pallini.

In regional unity of Evia school units and nurseries will remain closed: Mantoudiou – Limni – Ag. Anna – ⁠Dirfyon Messapion – ⁠Eretria – ⁠Kymi – Aliveriou. While schools and nurseries will remain open in the municipalities of Skyros, Chalkidea, Karystos, Istiaea – Edipsos.

In regional unit of Boeotia schools and nurseries will remain closed in the municipalities of Tanagra, Thebes, Aliartou – Thespion, Orchomenou and Levadeon. Schools and nurseries will remain open with a later attendance (10:00 a.m.): in the Municipality of Distomo – Arachova – Antikyra.

The operation of Primary and Secondary education schools is also suspended in the municipality of Thira due to impending bad weather. At the same time, municipal nurseries will also remain closed on Tuesday.

Schools in Anogeia, Crete will remain closed on Tuesday, as worsening weather conditions are expected. Respectively, in the municipality of Phaistos the Vesperino High School and the Lyceum Classes of Vesperino Tympaki will not operate and on Tuesday, January 30, the Zarou Primary School, Kindergarten and nursery school, the Vorizion Primary School, the Kamaro Primary School and the Zarou High School will remain closed.
