The Independent Public Revenue Authority proceeded from 1/2 to the digitization of the Entry, Exit and Transfer Notices of domestic goods in the Free Zone, with the aim of further facilitating transit trade.

Obligees can now submit the above forms digitally, through the ICISnet integrated customs information system, by following the path Imports > Free Zone Forms, in the Imports subsystem. The ICISnet Imports Subsystem Submission Message Specification (XSD) files can be found at the link:

Through the digitization of the bulletins:

  • the administrative costs of businesses are reduced
  • the role of the administrator of the “Free Zone” is upgraded as a trusted partner of the customs administration
  • financial liquidity is ensured for businesses, i.e. they do not have to pay the tax first and wait for its refund,
  • transit trade is enhanced,
  • the competitiveness of Greek export companies as well as companies active in the supply chain increases,
  • an integrated management of non-EU and domestic goods is provided through their deposit in Free Zones, with the aim of further disposal of the goods through exports, intra-community transactions, deliveries as supplies for ships and aircraft or consumption within the country.
