A strange incident happened in Tragaia, Naxos, fortunately without serious injuries, between two minor students.

According to exclusive information of naxostimes.gr, a 14-year-old student of Tragaia High School pulled a knife on a 16-year-old foreigner, a student of EPAL Filotiou, injuring him in the hand.

The 16-year-old was taken to the Naxos hospital by an EKAB ambulance and then transferred to an Athens hospital, with the wound, fortunately, not having caused him a serious problem.

According to the same information, the incident happened at noon on Thursday, January 25, after the students had gone to school, outside the Tragaia High School, and it was reported anonymously, a few days later, to the police authorities.

The 16-year-old, who initially kept what happened a secret, claims that the 14-year-old showed him the knife he was holding and the injury it was done without intention.

The incident has caused a shock in the small communities of the villages and also in the school communities who consider it unthinkable that minor children are walking around with knives.
