Short visit to Thessalonikion the occasion of the opening of the 30th international exhibition AGROTICA, was held by the archbishop of Athens and all Greece Jerome.
The archbishop arrived on Friday afternoon at the “Macedonia” airport, where he was received by the metropolitan of Thessaloniki Filotheos.
He then went to the premises of TIF for the opening of AGROTICA and then toured its premises together with his companions, while “visiting several stands of this leading exhibition of the primary sector, while also receiving information on the developments in the agricultural sector and chatting at the same time with professionals” as pointed out in today’s announcement of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki.
On Saturday morning, Mr. Hieronymos, accompanied by the metropolitans of Ioannina Maximus, Nea Ionia and Philadelphia Gabriel and Philippi, Neapolis and Thassos Stefanos, arrived at the Episcopate of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki, where they were received by Mr. Philotheos, his clerical associates and they had a short meeting with the former Metropolitan Anthimos. Afterwards, the archbishop and his entourage went to the Metropolitan Holy Church of Agios Gregorios of Palamas, where Mr. Hieronymos also worshiped the altar of the relics of the co-owner of Thessaloniki, and then left for the airport.
