A shocking case of trafficking of a 46-year-old woman from Germany was investigated by police officers of the Anti-Trafficking Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate.

The appropriate use of information and the ongoing police investigation led to the identification of a 46-year-old German woman, a victim of human trafficking, in an area of ​​Thessaly, who was being extradited against her will, and to the formation of a case against eight people involved in the case.

These are citizens aged 41 (male), 37 (female), 46 (male), 61 (male), 55 (female), 52 (male), 65 (female) and 40 (female), at whose expense it was formed case file, as the case may be, for human trafficking, rape and fraud.

In particular, as emerged from the police investigation, in April 2020 the 41-year-old, already imprisoned for acts of human trafficking at the expense of the 46-year-old herself, who had repatriated to Germany, managed to get in touch with her by phone from prison and by threats against her life forced her to move to the home of his relatives.

In this house-hell, the 46-year-old remained for a period of one month, without being able to leave it, as she was constantly guarded by the relatives (37-year-old, 46-year-old, 61-year-old and 55-year-old) of the 41-year-old “brain” of the gang, accepting at the same time threats of violence and threats against her life.

In addition, throughout the disputed period of time, the 37-year-old, having possession of the victim’s mobile phone, pretending to be the 46-year-old, sent messages to her friends and falsely stated that she needed various sums of money, which she herself received.

The trafficking of the 46-year-old continued in Thessaly and Athens

Then the 61-year-old, after consultation with the 41-year-old, airlifted the patient to Athens, where he handed her over to their 52-year-old accomplice, who initially forced her into sexual intercourse with him every day, while he then transferred her to nursing homes, where the 46-year-old was forced to be issued and all the income from her love affairs was managed by the 52-year-old with the 65-year-old.

At the beginning of 2021, the 52-year-old moved the 46-year-old to an area of ​​Thessaly, where together with the 40-year-old they forced her with the threat, but also with the use of force, to carry out sexual appointments with clients in various apartments in the wider area, which he himself arranged through advertisements that he had posted on a number of websites on the internet, while he also managed all the revenue from the romantic dates, without the 46-year-old receiving any part of them.

In addition, during the aforementioned time period, the 52-year-old, having the victim’s mobile phone in his possession, sent messages to a friend of hers, where, pretending to be the victim, he falsely stated that he needed various sums of money, which he received himself.

The relevant case file will be submitted to the competent Prosecutor, while the 46-year-old woman, after being examined by a Medical Examiner, was provided with the required assistance and protection.
