Coronavirus – Possibility of new measures: The “hard lockdown” scenario for the unvaccinated |

by

The government has not yet considered new measures for the unvaccinated, according to government officials.

More specifically, the aim in the first stage is to take into account the first elements from the implementation of the recently adopted measures and in particular to determine whether they are actually implemented correctly.

In any case, the government is preparing for any eventuality as no one is able to know how the coming weeks will develop, which have been described as critical.

In particular, in case of failure in terms of the effectiveness of the measures already adopted, it is not considered unlikely that the scenario will see the unvaccinated people can only go to supermarkets and pharmacies without the opportunity to participate in any other activity even with a rapid test.

At the same time, a particularly extreme scenario, which is considered unacceptable, is that the unvaccinated are not able to enter even supermarkets, thus making their purchases only electronically.

However, it is repeated that this is an extreme scenario which would be considered only if the Health System reached a point of collapse.
