Triantopoulos: Extension of deadline for submission of applications for earthquake victims in Crete

Extension until 28 February 2022 for Submission or modification first aid applications from the affected by earthquake of 27 September 2021 at Crete provided by the new relevant joint decisions of the Ministers of Finance, Development and Investment, Infrastructure and Transport and State, published on Tuesday, February 15, in the Government Gazette.

More specifically, with the JMC B ‘635 / 15.02.2022, B’ 636 / 15.02.2022, B ‘637 / 15.02.2022, the earthquake victims of Crete are given an extension for the submission or modification of first aid applications against housing assistance, first aid against business subsidy and household goods compensation respectively, by the end of this month.
These decisions were issued following the approval of a relevant proposal of the Governmental State Aid Committee chaired by the Deputy Minister under the Prime Minister, in charge of State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, Christos Triantopoulos.
In this context, Mr. Christos Triantopoulos made the following statement:

“Following the relevant decisions taken by the Governmental State Aid Committee, new joint ministerial decisions have been published giving the victims of the earthquake in Crete an extension to apply or to modify the application they have already submitted for first aid against housing assistance or business subsidy or for compensation for household goods on the platform arogi.gov.gr, until February 28. In this way, earthquake victims will have more time to apply for first aid or to modify the application they may have already made. The process during the new, third, operating phase of the first aid platform is proceeding normally, having, to date, 2,190 finalized applications and 262 temporary ones. And we continue in close cooperation with the involved bodies “.
