Producers and sellers of street markets, stalls and street trade and artisans-artists are invited to register their license on the platform
Starting tomorrow, the registration of licensed outdoor trade sellers in the “Open Market” Integrated Information System (OPSAA) will begin.
In the decision signed by the general secretary of Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development, Sotiris Anagnostopoulos and which has been posted on the website of the ministry, the following are stated in detail:
Regarding the Integrated Information System “Open Market” (OPSAA) of article 56 of Law 4849/2021 (Α΄ 207) for open-air trade and regarding the registration in it of existing licensed sellers outdoor trade, i.e. producers and professional sellers (folk markets, stalls and street trade), as well as artisans-artists, we know the following:
A. Object of registration in OPSAA.
In the Integrated Information System “Open Market” (OPSAA) of article 56 of Law 4849/2021, which is accessible via the online address https://openmarket.mindev.gov.gr, the existing outdoor trade license holders, i.e. those who obtained a license before the entry into force of Law 4849/2021, i.e. before February 1, 2022, as follows:
aa) Holders of producer and seller licenses of street markets, stationary and street trade which have not been abolished in accordance with the provisions of Law 4849/2021 or previous legislative framework.
ab) Holders of licenses for professional sellers of street markets, stalls and street trade which have not been abolished in accordance with the provisions of Law 4849/2021 or previous legislative framework.
a) Holders of craftsman-artist licenses which were granted in accordance with the provisions of the previous law on outdoor trade, i.e. article 45 of Law 4497/2017 (A΄ 171).
B. Method of registration of licensed sellers in OPSAA.
The registration of licensed sellers in O.P.S.A.A. will be carried out as follows:
License holders will register their licenses with OPSAA. which they will enter via the online address https://openmarket.mindev.gov.gr with their personal TAXIS codes, according to the instructions in the user manual that will be posted on the system.
The registration of licenses in the system by licensees will be carried out by type of outdoor trade exercise and at specified time stages, as described in the next section.
C. Registration of licenses of producers and professional sellers, as well as artisans – artists O.P.S.A.A.
– Licensed producers and professional sellers in the stall and street trade: Producer and professional seller license holders in the stall and street trade will register their licenses in the system from 15/02/2024 to 15/05/2024. It is pointed out that the registration will concern licenses which have not been abolished in accordance with the provisions of Law 4849/2021 or previous legislative framework.
– Licensed craftsman-artists: Craftsman-artist license holders will register their licenses in the system similarly from 15/02/2024 to 15/05/2024. It is pointed out that the registration will only concern the licenses that have been granted in accordance with article 45 of Law 4497/2017.
– Licensed producers and professional street market sellers: Producer and professional street market seller license holders will register their licenses in the System from 03/15/2024 to 06/15/2024. It is pointed out that the registration will concern licenses, which have not been abolished in accordance with the provisions of Law 4849/2021 or previous legislative framework.
Finally, it is noted that, after the expiration of the above deadlines and any extensions, it will not be possible for their holders to register in the license system.
