In the bench of the Three-member Criminal Court of Rhodes will sit on March 8, 2024 a educationalaccused of physical harm at the expense of a weak person and especially a child on the spectrum autism.

It is attributed to her that on March 1, 2022 by intention caused injury to a minor who was under her protection.

Specifically, while working as gymnast in Special Elementary School on the south side of the island, on purpose, during the lesson, knocked on the face of a minor student, causing redness of the skin, mild swelling of both cheekbones and posterior cervical region, ecchymosis of the buccal region and ecchymosis of the right pedicle.

The investigation into the case was initiated after complaint her mother of the child who pointed out that the child, when he came home from school, was red but did not pay much attention and believed it was from playing and the stress of the day.

Along the way he found that it was struck and told her that the teacher had hit it.

She claimed she then informed the school principal who disputed the complaint.

In fact, the mother complained that at the beginning of the school year she was a teacher he had tied his feet of the little one at school during gym time and when he was asked what had happened he presented that he did it for game!

The mother even made it clear that the childbeing on the autism spectrum, never lies and was constantly upset and visibly scared.

The defendant denied what was attributed to her, saying that the child hit himself and that she picked him up.

The EDE carried out to control the incident was exculpatory.
