Teachers announced a strike in order to participate in the new general education rally at 12 noon in Propylaia
A new all-education rally has been planned for 12 noon in Athens in view of the submission to Parliament of the bill that also includes the operation of non-state universities in our country.
The coordination of action of the student associations of Athens decided to carry out a new one all-education rally at 12 noon in Propylaia, while it will follow path to the Constitution, for which traffic regulations are expected to be announced on the streets of central Athens. Also, rallies are planned on 12 noon in Kamara in Thessaloniki and at the same time in Patras in Georgiou Square. Similar demonstrations are organized by Student Associations in other cities.

The teachers announced their participation in the new, all-education rally with the Federation of Secondary Education Officers (OLME) announcing three-hour work stoppage for Thursday. More specifically, OLME, in its announcement, emphasizes that: “She supports him public character of Universities», while calling everyone to participate en masse in the student mobilization on Thursday, February 22, at 12 noon in Propylaia (and in all mobilizations throughout the country).
In order for the teachers to participate in this mobilization, OLME announced a work stoppage on same day, from 11 am until the end of the shift.
The teachers will be present this week at the all-education rally, with Teachers’ Federation of Greece (IOE) to announce a three-hour work stoppage. The IOC, in its announcement, emphasizes that: “It supports the public character of Universities and calls all teachers to participate en masse in the student/university mobilization on Thursday, February 22, at 12 in Propylaia (and in the mobilizations throughout the country)”.
