Two arrests for cocaine and cannabis trafficking in Attica

As part of the spontaneous process, two people, an Albanian who is a well-known singer in his country and a Greek, were arrested in Artemida, Attica, by police officers of the Attica Security Drug Prosecution Sub-Directorate, accused of drug possession and trafficking.

According to ELAS, after investigating information on cocaine and raw cannabis trafficking, by the two men, in the greater Attica area, their criminal activity was located and certified.

In particular, after an investigation, the Greek was arrested inside a house in Artemis, to possess, on behalf of the Albanian, 9 packages with 1,015 grams of raw hemp. In another house in the same area, the foreigner was arrested for possessing a package of 50 grams of cocaine.

A total of 1,015 grams of raw cannabis, 50 grams of cocaine, 2 electronic scales, a pistol, 4 cartridges, the amount of 9,230 euros, 2 cars and 4 mobile phones were found and confiscated from the searches, according to ELAS.

The two arrested were taken to the Athens Public Prosecutor’s Office
