The announcement concerns the recruitment of permanent nursing staff in public hospitals – Through ASEP the recruitments
The decision was signed today issuance of notice which foresees the recruitment of permanent nursing staff in public hospitals.
The announcement by ASEP, which is expected to be published in the near future, concerns the filling of 2,145 University (PE), Technological (TE) and Secondary (DE) Education positions.
Also within the next few days, for the further strengthening the public health system, more than 750 positions of qualified doctors in the NHS sector will be advertised of all specialties and degrees throughout the country.
The Minister of Health Adonis Georgiades stated among other things that “in 2024 there will be a total of 6,500 recruitments in the Health sector for the reinforcement of NHS hospitals. In this context, the announcement was signed today for 2,145 positions of permanent nursing staff in the hospitals and agencies of the Ministry of Health. We are moving forward at a fast pace, but also based on the real needs of the NHS for better patient service and dealing with malfunctions in departments and clinics across the country.”
On the same subject, the Deputy Minister of Health Marios Themistocleous underlined how “The 2,145 new positions will cover deficiencies and offer new dynamics to the National Health System. We continue with method and determination to upgrade the NHS, ensuring it direct access of citizens to high-quality health services throughout the country”.
