As they say, the attack was against the new criminal code
The responsibility for the attack on its offices Elena Raptiin the center of Thessaloniki, was taken over by the “Anarchists” group.
As they say, the attack was against the new criminal code.
In their announcement they state:
“Times are difficult for the Greek state. The economic crisis, the corona virus and the escalation of conflicts in Ukraine, the Sahel and the Middle East gave him an irreparable blow. In an attempt to stand on its own two feet, it goes wild: it degrades the purchasing power of the working class while simultaneously suppressing it, engages in campaigns with its NATO assassin allies, and attempts to recruit the disaffected petty and middle classes with new narratives and policies. The murders of immigrants in the Aegean and the Evros and the centralization of power are some aspects of the above, but essential for social cohesion and the reconstitution of a national body that will keep alive the declining state. In this cake of authoritarianism comes the icing: the amendment of the Criminal Code, the “solution to unabashed criminality” as the minister declares. The media’s chronic propaganda with its daily focus on “crime and violence” has managed to present “law, order and security” as the ultimate need to be met by the state, demonstrating in the most compelling way the repressive, retributive and disciplinary his character in every dimension of social life.
But isn’t this a permanent policy of manipulating the masses? When the lower and middle urban strata, classes directly related to property, see the state completely weak and incapable of “protecting” them, they ask for more state, more laws, more violence. Now someone can go to jail just for posting fake news on the internet.
It is obvious that the bill aims to further suppress the lower social strata, while the big bosses and the Greek Mafia continue their dirty work, fearing no one. But we will not ask for a “fairer bill, without class marks” nor will we beg the bourgeoisie to be more favorable to us. We continue to resist in public and private spaces to make the criminal code valid only on paper and nowhere else. To demolish every prison and under its debris the state is crushed.
On this occasion, we chose to intervene with paints and tricycles outside the office of the ND MP, Elena Rapti, at noon on Thursday 15/2 in the center of Thessaloniki, as part of the fight against the new criminal code.
In this way we are trying to bring the war to their lands, to their homes, to their offices, to their businesses and we want them to know that these are not individual acts but a counter-attack from below.
NEITHER CRIMINAL NOR JUDICIAL, BURLOTO AND FIRE IN EVERY PRISON!
COPS, JUDGES, POLITICIANS, YOU HAVE NO REASON TO SLEEP QUIETLY!
AGAINST THE NEW CRIMINAL CODE!”.
