The health adventure for the 16-year-old girl began quite suddenly. From one moment to the next and while the child was healthy, one day when he returned from school he began to complain of unbearable pains in the head, while gradually within a few hours he presented memory gaps.
The panicked parents initially took her to the Volos Hospital. Doctors began a series of tests until it was diagnosed that has encephalitis, which was caused by auto-immunity, which occurred after a virus.
Naturally, he sounded the alarm. The 16-year-old was rushed to the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki. There was no time to waste. But the doctors say that the road to recovery and full functioning of her body is still very long.
