The program Corporate Social Responsibility of Digea, “Heroes of Digea” made its first voyage for 2024, bound for HERACLION, Crete.
As part of the initiative to support the children, the Management and executives of the company visited all the special schools and structures in the prefecture, offering electronic equipment & useful items to the schools and structures, as well as individual gifts to all the children.
Visited in detail: The 1st & 2nd Special Kindergarten of Heraklion, the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Special Primary School of Heraklion, the Special Kindergarten of Moira, the Special Primary School of Pobia – Moira, the EEEEK of Tymbakio, the Special High School of Heraklion, the Special Primary School for the Deaf / Hard of Hearing , the ENEEGYL & the EEEEK of Heraklion, the Special Primary School of Arkalochori, the SOS Children’s Village of Heraklion, the Heraklion Boys’ Home and the Heraklion Child Protection Center.
The students and their teachers welcomed the representatives of Digea with a warm welcome, while the action was supported by the presence of the representatives of the Region and the Directorate of Primary Education of Heraklion.
On the occasion of the first action for this year, the CEO of Digea, Mr. Nikos Mastorakis, said: “The Corporate Social Responsibility program “The Heroes of Digea” started in 2018, with the aim of supporting all children who need a little more our care and love. During our three-day visit, we shared joy and smiles with more than 550 children. Armed with the positive energy we received, we continue our journey, with the next stop being the special schools and structures of the Prefecture of Lasithi”.
