In two additional arrests the police proceeded for the pimping ring that forced underage girls into prostitution. A 55-year-old and a 36-year-old accused of serial, one-time and continuous human trafficking were arrested on warrants.

Those arrested will be taken to the competent Prosecutor.

There had been 4 previous arrests: a 25-year-old woman who is alleged to be the “mastermind” of the ring and her alleged accomplices, her friend of the same age, a 54-year-old taxi driver as well as a 21-year-old woman.

The 25-year-old and the payments

The 25-year-old, according to police sources, knew underage girls in at least 2 bars in Attica from the summer of 2023 and having developed a friendly relationship with at least seven minors he facilitated meetings with clients, with the aim of sexually exploiting them in half-board hotels in the center of Athens.

According to police sources, the 25-year-old “mastermind” received from each minor, usually 50 – 100 euros, depending on the money collected by the minors, which ranged from 200 to 500 euros. In fact, in some cases the payments instead of money were made with narcotic substances and in particular cocaine as well as by tattooing the underage girls

The 25-year-old, who is also accused of drug trafficking based on the arrest warrant issued against her, her boyfriend and the taxi driver themselves took the minors to the dates.

THE 21 years old promoted sexual exploitation one of the minor girls, having received part of the money.
