Twelve new incidents of domestic violence were recorded in the last 24 hours throughout Greece.

To Agios Panteleimonasafter a complaint by a 21-year-old girl that her ex-partner threatened her, OPKE police officers located and arrested the 23-year-old.

To Orchomenos, Boeotia, police handcuffed a 73-year-old man after a complaint by his daughter and his estranged wife that the accused forced his daughter to leave the house he had given her and resided recently with her three minor children.

Yet the elderly man is accused of driving his car in a dangerous manner, passing very close to his estranged wife causing her to tremble. Moreover, according to the complainants, the perpetrator was aware of the movements of their daily lives, causing terror and concern in them, as they believe that he is watching them.

At Copper, a 13-year-old girl went to the A.T. and complained that her mother, after a verbal episode at home, abused her and broke her mobile phone. She also alleged that her mother pulled her by the hair and threw her to the ground, hitting her in the head area.

However, tthe girl did not press charges against her mother. The police ordered a forensic examination of the 13-year-old.

At Chalkida againa 66-year-old woman complained that the 46-year-old her son raped her and pushed her into her house, as a result of which she fell to the ground and was slightly injured. A forensic examination of the patient was ordered.

At Fthiotida, a 26-year-old woman filed a lawsuit against her father, as she complained, when she went to her parents’ house to collect her personal belongings, he verbally threatened her and insulted her. The complainant, for her safety, remained at A.T. Amfikleias, and within the day she will be transferred to a women’s hostel in Lamia.

Similar incidents of domestic violence took place in Patras, Aetoloacarnania, Nafplio.
