The first weekend of implementation of the new digital entry framework for spectators at the Super League 1 stadiums has been successfully completed. To date, 15,000 fans have identified their ticket in a simple and friendly way, through the Gov.gr Wallet application, which they have downloaded to their mobile phone from Google Play or the App Store.

It is worth noting that a total of 33,000 sports fans watched live the Playoffs and Playouts matches held over the weekend.

The digital entry completes the set of measures taken by the Ministries of Education, Religion and Sports and Digital Governance to deal with fan violence.

It is underlined that the process of digital entry to the stadiums applies to Super League 1 matches, as well as the Greek Cup.

It is recalled that a necessary condition for the use of the Gov.gr Wallet application is the registration of citizens in the National Register of Communications (EMEP), at emep.gov.gr, while the process of digital entry to the stadiums is described in detail at tickets.gov.gr.

It is pointed out that until the end of this year’s competition season, in May, the hybrid system of entering the stadiums will be valid, in order to give the appropriate time for adaptation to both the Sports Corporations and the fans.
