On Monday, April 15, 2024, the President of the Athenian Club, Mr. Kyriakos Koukoulommatis and the Board of Directors hosted an official dinner in honor of His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, Mr. Bartholomew I’.
This historic day for the Athenian Club was honored with their presence, the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Mr. Hieronymus II and prominent figures of the political and military leadership of the country as well as distinguished businessmen.
The Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomeos was in Athens as he participated in the 9th International Conference on Oceans, held at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) from April 15 to 17, 2024.
His Holiness Panagiotis Patriarch Ms. Bartholomew has been awarded for his ecological vision and his significant environmental action, deservedly earning the title of “Green Patriarch”.
The official dinner was hosted by the Dinner Sophistry in the hall on the 9th floor of the Athenian Club.
