The convening of a wide-ranging meeting with all those involved in sports, on Thursday morning in the context of the consultation on the new sports law, was revealed in and the show “Unmatched” the Deputy Minister of Sports Lefteris Avgenakis.
As he said, no such meeting has taken place before, as it will be attended by former sports ministers – representatives of all parties in charge of sports, the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, academics, representatives of the Super League working group and representatives of the Super League 2.
He even added that there will be representatives from PSAT federations, representatives of athletes but also representatives of legal clubs. “This is how healthy voices emerge, with those who strive for pure football and against fan violence we are together.”
He then referred to the strict framework imposed by the new sports law that comes to Parliament next week: “If someone involved in an incident of fan violence is arrested, he is automatically remanded in custody, the incident is tried as a matter of priority and its assessment begins immediately.
