He was arrested at home on a report of a domestic violence incident
He was arrested on the evening of Good Friday, in the area of Metaxourgeio, by police officers of the Organized Crime and Human Trafficking Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate, a 31-year-old from Bulgaria, for pimping, violation of the laws on addictive substances and on weapons and for possession of travel documents of third parties .
In particular, according to ELAS, following an investigation into an episode of domestic violence and with the assistance of police officers from the DIAS Team, the police located the 31-year-old man and two women inside a house.
From the preliminary investigation it emerged that the defendant, at least since the end of 2023, was promoting and exploiting women, whom he transported to brothels in the center of Athens.
After an investigation, among others, they found and confiscated:
- 3.9 grams crystal methamphetamine,
- taser,
- third party asylum seeker card and
- lots of handwritten notes about planning love dates, as well as dividing the proceeds.
It is noted that the accused had been arrested in the past for similar offences.
The arrested person was taken to the competent prosecutor.
