Weather “spoils” us on Swan Thursday: Where there will be rain and thunderstorms

With increased clouds, local rains and in the southeast sporadic thunderstorms, the weather in the country is forecast on Swan Thursday.

The phenomena in the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese until noon will be strong in places. Snowfalls will occur in the mountains of Crete, while it will temporarily snow in the mountains of the central and northern mainland and Evia. From noon the effects in the north will stop and in the other areas will weaken.
The winds will blow from north 5 to 7 and in the Aegean 8 beauforts. From the afternoon to the west the winds will weaken.

In the west the weather will be generally clear with a few temporary clouds.

The temperature will drop slightly in the east. In the northern continents it will not exceed 10 to 12 degrees and in the rest of the mainland and the islands it will reach 13 to 15 degrees Celsius. In places frost will occur in the morning and evening in the northwest.

Weather: In western and central Macedonia generally clear weather with few local clouds. In the rest of the regions clouds temporarily increased with local rains and a little snow in the mountains. Gradual improvement from noon.

Temperature: From 04 to 12 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 3 to 4 points lower.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN STEREA, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Generally clear.
Winds: From north 4 to 5 and in the Ionian up to 6 Beaufort with weakening from the afternoon.
Temperature: From 05 to 16 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 4 to 5 degrees lower.

THESSALY, EASTERN CENTRAL, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: A few clouds increased in the eastern parts of Thessaly, in the Sporades and in the eastern Sterea with local rains until noon. Snowfall will occur in the mountains.
Winds: From north 5 to 7 and in places up to 8 Beaufort, with slight weakening at night in the north.
Temperature: From 03 to 14 degrees Celsius.

CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Cloudy with rain and sporadic thunderstorms which will be strong in places until noon. Snowfalls will occur in the mountains of Crete.
Winds: From north 7 to 8 beauforts.
Temperature: From 09 to 14 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily increased with local rains and in the south sporadic thunderstorms. The effects in the Dodecanese will be strong and will weaken from the afternoon.
Winds: From north 5 to 6, gradually 7 and in places 8 beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 16 degrees Celsius. In the north 3 to 4 degrees lower.

EUBOEA
Weather: Cloudy with local rain. Snowfall will occur in the mountains. Gradually the phenomena will weaken.
Winds: From north 6 to 8 beauforts.
Temperature: From 06 to 12 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA
Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily increased with local rains in the north and east. From noon the weather will improve.
Winds: North 5 to 7 and east temporary 8 Beaufort.

THESSALONIKI
Weather: Generally clear.
