From 7 this morning until 7 in the afternoon, the student elections are held in the universities of the territory.

According to DAP-NDFK, the polls have opened “smoothly and without particular problems”.

The time of the elections may differ, in the event that there is a different forecast from a student association.

Following a relevant decision of the inter-factional council of students, no classes will be held today, so that the electoral process can progress smoothly and facilitate the participation of students.

Students who go to the polls should show their ID or passport or driver’s license to the electoral committee. Only with a pass or student ID, participation in the elections is prohibited.

In the event that a student does not have the necessary documents with him/her – identity card, passport or driver’s license – the possibility to participate in the elections is provided only with a certificate, which will be granted by the department’s secretariat, after relative control of the student’s card at the secretariats.
