“We put an end to their suffering of our disabled fellow citizens. More than 1,200 doctors they heard our call and applied to join the Special Corps of Physicians (ESI) of Disability Certification Centers (KEPA).
This in itself is a success, not only because the number exceeds the target we had set but also because it confirms the commitment of the medical world to the Hippocratic Oath.” This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Domna Michailidou, on the occasion of the extension of the deadline for submitting applications for the inclusion of 700 doctors in the Register of the Special Body of Doctors (ESI) of the K.E.P.A. until Sunday, June 2.
“We decided to give the extension of a few days”, said Domna Michailidou, “in order for the doctors who have submitted an application to provide the necessary supporting documents and on the other hand to attract additional neurologists, psychiatrists and child psychiatrists”.
“All together we can change the country for the better. We are putting this into practice today by improving disability certification services and speeding up procedures,” noted the Minister of Labor and Social Security.
“As the Ministry of Labor and Social Security,” concluded Domna Michaelidou, “we are committed to continuing to promote equality and justice, ensuring that all citizens enjoy equal rights without discrimination. We continue to work tirelessly for an inclusive society.”
The deadline for submitting applications for the inclusion of 700 doctors in the Register of the Special Body of Doctors (ESI) of the K.E.P.A. is extended until Sunday, June 2 at 23:59.
Interested doctors enter using their personal TAXISnet codes at the online address https://www.efka.gov.gr/el/aitese-delose-eggraphes-sto-metroo-eidikoy-somatos-iatron-esi and fill in the fields of the electronic application-declaration, which include their basic identity and contact information, as well as their additional information, such as, for example, degrees, other required qualifications, graded criteria, etc.
