Find out where to eat good executive menus in SP restaurants for up to R$100

At lunchtime, those who work outside the home can find options that go beyond the traditional pê-efes, prepared dishes.

Some restaurants with more expensive dishes at night offer, at lunch, executive menus with starter, main, dessert and even drinks at more affordable prices.

More and more houses are adopting the service, such as the traditional Jiquitaia and Nou, which recently launched their combinations. This is also a chance to sample the cuisine of renowned chefs, such as Janaina Torres, from Merenda da Cidade, without having to shell out large sums.

Edith

The drinks bar and bistro offers a menu of combination meals throughout the week. Dishes start at R$47 and are accompanied by a starter and dessert. The restaurant is owned by the Vietnamese restaurant Bia Hoi, but has French influences on the menu. Options include chicken fricassee, pork filet mignon with poivre sauce and vegan tajine with soy tempê.

Gopala

With a Brazilian touch, the Indian restaurant serves vegetarian lunch every day at two locations. For R$50, the executive menu includes a salad, main course, unlimited juice and dessert. Among the options are the three-cheese lasagna with pakora —breaded vegetables— and the tofu moqueca with vadai, a type of lentil dumpling with yogurt sauce.

Howm

Recently opened at the Selina hotel, the restaurant serves its executive menu from 12pm to 3pm. Options include the classic dish made — with rice, beans, cabbage, egg and fried banana and grilled steak —, mushroom risotto, chicken or mushroom stroganoff and spaghetti carbonara. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, feijoada is served. A starter salad and dessert of the day accompany the combo, starting at R$ 32.90.

City Snack

Popular restaurant by chef Janaina Torres is dedicated to traditional pê-efes, served at lunch. The meal includes starter, juice and dessert for R$49 — for delivery, it’s R$56.90, without drink. The suggestions are fixed by day of the week and include São Paulo style with pork (Monday) or fish (Friday). Vegan local rice, with vegetables, is a daily staple.

Known for its coffees and brunch, it serves combos with starter, main, dessert and mate tea on weekdays. Options vary, but include quiche or pie accompanied by salad, lasagna, spaghetti or risotto. Lunch combos start at R$34.

Artzen

The restaurant, located on the ground floor of a hotel in Jardins, serves an executive menu from Tuesday to Friday for R$59. The dishes change daily, and suggestions such as filet mignon parmigiana with fries or polpetone may appear. with fettuccine in sugo. To sweeten it, there’s dulce de leche pudding and panacota with strawberry.

Corner of Picuí

Under the command of chef Wanderson Medeiros, it started to open for lunch, from Tuesday to Friday, with an executive menu. For R$68, the meal includes starter, main and dessert. The recipes are very Brazilian, like shredded sun-dried beef with cream, accompanied by crunchy tapioca as a starter. For mains, you can choose from options such as cubes of meat in wine with vegetables, mushroom and three-root puree, and two-root baião. To finish, the choice is the coconut cocada with tapioca ice cream, farofa and honey threads.

Ici Brasserie

For R$73, you can eat a starter, main course and dessert at the French-accented restaurant. In the main part, it serves options such as sea rice with shrimp and seafood, pork schnitzel (pork breaded) with potato salad and chicken breast with rustic potatoes and salad. There are units in Jardins and the Villa-Lobos shopping mall.

Nonna Rosa

The Italian restaurant offers the Nipote menu for lunch, which costs R$72 with starter, main and dessert. To start, there are suggestions such as sun-dried tomato rice balls with pomodoro sauce and tomato bruschetta with ricotta and lemon. For mains, spaghetti bolognese, fettuccine with veal ragu and fish with herb crust and puree. To top it off, there’s house-made cake or milk pudding. For R$93, you can include a glass of wine and water.

Nou

It launched an executive menu that combines starter, main course and dessert of the day for R$61 from Monday to Friday. Chef Amilcar Azevedo prepares a different suggestion each day: on Mondays, for example, he serves spaguetini carbonara and filet mignon mince. On Thursday, he has beetroot risotto with goat cheese, fish bobó or fillet medallion with gorgonzola. Its famous breaded steak with mashed potatoes is part of the combo on Fridays.

Piccini Bar

At lunchtime from Monday to Friday, the Italian-inspired bar serves an executive meal for R$65. The meal starts with the salad of the day or polenta with sausage ragu. Among the main options, the Saint Peter fillet with vegetables sautéed in olive oil stands out. The sweet of the day can vary between mousses and pudding. The Piccini Cucina restaurant, owned by the same owners, offers a complete executive menu for R$79 per week.

Flipped

The new addition to Largo do Arouche serves an executive menu from Tuesday to Friday for R$59, always with rice, beans and farofa. As the main ingredient, you can choose mignon parmigiana, fish of the day, grilled chicken, onion steak or the signature dish of the house — which includes sirloin, fried egg, breaded banana and cabbage. The tomato salad with cucumber and croutons is the starter. For an additional R$6, a dessert arrives at the table, which could be cream ice cream with chocolate cream and chestnut farofa.

Up to R$100

Abaru

The restaurant is located on the rooftop in the center of São Paulo and serves executive dishes from Monday to Friday from 12pm to 3:30pm. Options include sun-dried beef stroganoff, fish or vegetarian moqueca, pan meat, fusilli with sausage ragu or tomato sauce and chicken, each for R$55. Those who want to include a starter or dessert with their meal can order each one for R$12.

Conde’s Grocery Store

Named Completinho do Conde, the executive menu includes starter, main course and dessert, for R$86, from Tuesday to Friday, only at lunch. The menu available every week has two starter options — salad or cold soup —, three main courses — fish moqueca, fillet tagliata and quiche with vegetables — and a dessert.

Gastronomic World

The Italian restaurant has renewed its executive menu, which includes starter, main and dessert, for R$ 98. Among the main dishes are cacio e pepe pasta, or accompanied by chicken and mignon, as well as a parmesan risotto served with fish from the day. Dessert can be tiramisu or seasonal fruit.
