All the British media have today the death of the BBC presenter Michael Mosley (Michael Mosley), who was found dead this morning a few meters from the beach of Agia Marina.

The body of the 67-year-old was found in a state of decomposition behind a fence leading to the beach.

A medical examiner from Rhodes was at the scene for an initial opinion and then – just before 3 in the afternoon – the body was recovered by the rescue crews.

Speaking to the SkyNews correspondent, Antonis described exactly how they “found” the body of Mosley, who had been missing since last Wednesday.
Together with the colleagues and the mayor we decided to go by boat to the beach of Agia Marina and take pictures of the area from the sea.

Passing the fence point I saw something black sticking out and took shots from 300 yards, as clear as the zoom would allow. I told the mayor but I wasn’t sure. We turned back a little closer to the shore, about 200 meters and I took pictures again.

We went back to the cafeteria and zoomed in on the pictures. We found that it was a man lying on his back, with one hand on his stomach – in which he was wearing his watch – and in the other he was still holding his bag,” the cameraman described.

“I’m so sorry for the family, I’m sorry that I found him… I wish I had better news,” he said emotionally, with tears in his eyes.
