The Police, in the context of the investigation of the traffic accident that occurred on the evening of 7/6 in Athens-Corinth, in the direction of Corinth, where a fuel tanker overturned and caught fire, as a result of which the road was closed for hours, requests that the driver of a machine and a vehicle.

“In the context of investigating the causes of a traffic accident resulting in the deflection and ignition of a liquid fuel tanker vehicle, on Friday 7/6/2024 at around 9:20 p.m., at the 75,500 block of N.E.O. Athens-Corinth, at the exit of the Loutraki Junction, traffic flow towards Corinth, area of ​​Loutraki Municipality, please contact the 1st Traffic Department of PATHE Attica on the phones 22960-33028 & 22960-33026, both drivers of the vehicles :

A. two-wheeled motorcycle/s of dark color, probably of large displacement, the driver of which was wearing a white protective helmet and passed through the above point shortly before the traffic accident took place and

B. I.X.E. car, light in color, the driver of which, having activated the vehicle’s emergency lights (light warning system – “alarm”), was parked at the right end of the roadway at the level of the Loutraki Junction exit, traffic flow towards Corinth” .
