The 13 arrested arrived at the Piraeus courts around 1:00 p.m. in order to plead before the prosecutor Plimmeliodiki for the fire that broke out in Hydra on Friday night. At the same time, the investigation to determine whether the fire was caused by fireworks that came from the yacht “Persephone” is ongoing.

Based on the statements, the prosecutor will decide whether to prosecute the 13 arrested and with what charges.

The 13 people were arrested on Saturday by officers from the Fire Brigade’s Arson Crime Squad, which took over the investigation into the case after the errant behavior of those on board the boat on Friday night.

The yacht had been rented by tourists from Kazakhstan, who were vacationing in Greece and were released.

At the same time, the confiscation process of the yacht, which is located under the old airport of Ellinikos, is underway.
