The 13 people were arrested on Saturday by officers from the Fire Brigade’s Arson Crime Squad, which took over the investigation into the case after the errant behavior of those on board the boat on Friday night.
The yacht had been rented by tourists from Kazakhstan, who were vacationing in Greece and were released.
At the same time, the confiscation process of the yacht, which is located under the old airport of Ellinikos, is underway.
Kikilias: 300 acres were burned by the fire
Three hundred acres of forest burned in Hydra according to the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Vassilis Kikilia.
