Today, Sunday, cloudy skies with rain and sporadic thunderstorms are forecast, initially in the west, central and north, which will gradually expand to other areas.
The effects will be strong in places in the Ionian, Epirus, western Sterea and northwestern Peloponnese, quickly in Macedonia, Thessaly and the Sporades and gradually in the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean and Thrace. Heavy snowfalls in places will occur in the mountains and semi-mountains of Epirus, Macedonia and Thessaly, temporarily in the mountains of central Sterea and in the afternoon in the mountains and semi-mountains of Thrace. In the evening the effects in the west will weaken.
