Its activation panic button that a woman had installed on her cell phone, led to the arrest of her husband when she caught him entering the home where she lives with their minor children. The man was sentenced by Autoforo to 6 months in prison for domestic threat, with his sentence suspended on the condition that he does not approach the victim.

The incident that led him to his audience The Single-Member Criminal Court of Thessaloniki it happened a few days ago, while there was another episode last month when the couple met to discuss divorce proceedings.

As the woman said, a fight broke out during the conversation, with the man making threats. “He told me “I’m going to kill you, I’m crazy and I don’t mind going to jail, you’re going to pay dearly.” I was scared and I’m still scared because it’s not the first time he’s threatened me with my life. He has told me in front of the children that he will kill me“, she testified.

She had then decided to contact the Police, installing the panic button application on her mobile phone, while the man had been arrested and released on a condition not to approach her, which he apparently violated a few days later.

Regarding the incident for which he was convicted, he said that he had no intention of threatening the woman, saying that he went to sleep at the house where he previously lived so that he could go to work the next morning.

His guilt was also suggested by the district attorney, who stated that the accused repeatedly caused terror and anxiety to the victim.
