Flora has news. The bar, which is hidden behind a flower shop in Jardins and takes on a life of its own at night, added snacks to the menu this week, designed by Vinicius Pires (former sous chef at Evvai) and Rubens Salfer (who worked with Alex Atala).
The house also has the support of Argentine bartender Chula Barmaid, who created nine signature drinks for the new menu. Among them, the camellia chai (R$38) combines whiskey, homemade chai masala liqueur and honey, lemon juice, ginger and, when it arrives at the table, it gets a touch of smoky aroma from lapsang souchong tea.

In a curious mix, the basilicum (R$57) contains vodka infused with apple, basil syrup, lemon juice and blue cheese whey, finished with a green apple tuille. Another creation worth trying is the figus carica (R$46), prepared with gin cooked with dill, vermouth macerated in capers, saline caper extract and a cucumber and dill foam on top.
In addition to the French-inspired snacks and dishes that remain, the menu has been expanded with recipes such as the pastel stuffed with Mogiana cheese and onion marmalade with herb oil (R$34) and the pressed pork ribs with semi-cured cheese, onion marmalade and pickles in brioche (R$48).
For those who are more hungry, there are options such as grilled tuna, marinated with miso and herb oil (R$75) and eggplant lasagna with buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes and molica (R$52).
The house, founded by the duo Guilherme Chueire and Fred Sabbag, opened in 2021 with 37 places and, last year, tripled in size by incorporating the neighboring property. Now, the bar welcomes around a hundred people, who can sample the food and drinks in different environments: at two counters, at small tables on the sidewalk or on leather sofas in more private areas — ideal for a date, under the low lighting of the place. .
