With powerful motor, large battery and high charging power
Kosmocar – Volkswagen announces the launch of the dynamic ID.3 GTX and the ID.3 Pure version in the Greek market, opening the next chapter of the model in the small and medium class of Hatchback vehicles and further strengthening the range of options of the ID.3.
At the same time, the small 52 kWh battery will be available for the first time in the purely electric SUV coupé ID.5.
New ID.3 GTX – Powerful motor, large battery and high charging power
The ID.3 GTX is the most dynamic version of the model which carries an electric motor mounted on the rear axle and produces 210 kW (286 PS) with a maximum torque of 545 Nm (Equivalent torque with a V8 5500 cc petrol engine).
The top sports model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 180 km/h. The lithium-ion battery with an energy capacity of 79 kWh offers up to 603 km of range and can be charged at DC fast charging stations with up to 185 kW. At this power, the battery can be recharged from 10 to 80% in about 26 minutes.
The perfect combination of elegance and sporty design
Design-wise, the ID.3 GTX stands out from the regular ID.3 versions by adopting a different design with a clear reference to the GTX family. The dynamic front with the signature bumper features a new air intake grille in a diamond pattern while on the left and right, the bumper is limited by new daytime running lights that together form an X. The black strip of the roof panel combined with the black covers on the exterior mirrors and the impressive 20-inch Skagen alloy wheels underline its sporty character.
The sleek and sporty design of the new ID.3 GTX is not only evident on the outside, but continues on the inside as well. The dashboard with the characteristic GTX color accents as well as the GTX logos on the seats and steering wheel leave no doubt about the car’s dynamic character. Particular attention has also been paid to the standard GTX seat covers in Microfleece “ArtVelours” Eco with their red decorative stitching, which lends a high-quality feel to the interior.
Upgraded ID.3 Pro & ID.3 Pro S
A year after its upgrade, the electric Hatchback receives further improvements as it now features the next generation of software (ID. Software 5.0) and infotainment, as well as an improved handling philosophy.
Faster charging
A new and very important element is the thermal preparation of the high-voltage battery for fast charging in all ID.3 versions which ensures that before the next DC charging stop the battery temperature reaches the desired level, which allows faster charging for those they are in the middle of a long journey. This helps to reduce the charging time by several minutes, especially in winter. Thanks to this function and on long journeys with one or more charging stops, the battery of the ID.3 is supplied with electricity as quickly as possible.
When the Electric Vehicle Route Planner function is active, preparation is automatically started en route to the next fast charging station – the function can also be activated manually using the charging menu in the infotainment system.
Innovative In-Car Wellness app and new premium sound system
The Wellness In-Car app is a new feature, which allows the adjustment of various functions of the ID.3 through three preset programs (Fresh Up, Calm Down and Power Break), which can help to enhance well-being during the journey . Another highlight is the new optional Harman Kardon premium audio system with 480 Watts of musical power, 12 speakers and four settings: Pure, Relax, Speech and Vibrant.
New generation infotainment system and integration of GPT Chat technology
The infotainment system of the ID.3 is also sophisticated. The touch screen is now 12.9 inches with a completely new menu structure, for easier operation by the driver and passenger. The multifunction steering wheel has been improved, allowing simplified and more intuitive handling. Also, Volkswagen removed the drive selector from the Digital Cockpit frame and moved it as a switch on the steering column, just like the other IDs. The touch controls for air conditioning and volume control are now backlit and located below the Infotainment system screen.
With the new voice assistant IDA, handling the ID.3 becomes easier as it responds more precisely than before to natural voice commands. It not only allows control of a range of vehicle functions, but also answers questions by accessing online databases such as Wikipedia. Another innovative feature is the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) through ChatGPT.
New entry versions ID.3 Pure & ID.5 Pure
The introductory version ID.3 Pure is integrated into the ID.3 range, being a new more affordable proposal in the pure electric vehicle market. With a 52, kWh (net) lithium-ion battery, the ID.3 Pure delivers 125 kW (170 PS) and 310 Nm of torque, providing a range of up to 388 km (combined cycle, WLTP).
In a high-power charging station, the ID.3 Pure reaches a maximum charging power of 145 kW and can be charged to 10%-80% of its content in less than 31 minutes.
The suggested retail price is €27,500 (including the €9,000 subsidy plus the €2,000 withdrawal offered by the Kinoumai Electrika 3 program)
The small battery with a net energy content of 52 kWh will now also be available in the purely electric SUV coupé ID.5. The introductory version has a predicted range of 370 km. (combined cycle, WLTP) with the electric motor installed on the rear axle producing 125 kW (170 PS).
In addition, the ID.5 Pure will also be available in the More version at a very competitive price, with €2,000 more than the Pure version, while the value of the equipment is €6,634.
The suggested retail price is €37,900 (including the €9,000 subsidy plus the €2,000 withdrawal offered by the Kinoumai Electrika 3 program)
