The Minister of Civil Protection Takis Theodorikakos also had a telephone conversation with the Ukrainian Ambassador to Greece Sergii Shutenko, in which he reiterated the full support and solidarity of Greece to the Ukrainian people who are experiencing the violent Russian invasion of his country. The minister stressed that the Greek authorities will do everything necessary to facilitate the Ukrainian refugees and will be in constant cooperation with the Ukrainian embassy.
763 Ukrainian refugees crossed into Greece only from Promachonas
A total of 763 refugees from Ukraine crossed the Promachonas border station from the beginning of the crisis until yesterday at midnight, as Serres Deputy Regional Governor Panagiotis Spyropoulos told APE-MPE.
