Tomorrow Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 23:59, the deadline for the online submission of applications for registrations – re-registrations of infants – toddlers in the 27 nursery centers of the Public Employment Service (DOUBLE) for the school year 2024-2025. The accommodation of infants – toddlers is completely free.

DYPA’s privately owned nurseries operate from September 1 to July 31, 6:45-16:00 (Monday-Friday) and are aimed at infants and toddlers from 6 months to 4 years. As stated in the relevant announcement, a daily program of creative work is implemented for the harmonious psychosomatic and educational development of the children.

In Attica, nurseries operate in the municipalities Acharnon, Agia Varvara, Ano Liosion, Elefsina, Keratsini, Moschato, Olympic Village, Peristeri and Haidariou, while, in the rest of Greece, they operate in the cities Agrini, Arta, Drama, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina, Kavala, Kalamata, Karditsa, Karpenisi, Komotini, Larissa, Messolonghi, Naoussa, Xanthi, Patras, Pylaia Thessaloniki, Serres and Trikala.

Applications are submitted exclusively online, via gov.gr: https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ekpaideuse/eggraphe-se-brephiko-kai-paidiko-stathmo/eggraphe-se-brephonepiako-stathmo-tes-demosias -uperemias-apaskholeses-d-up.

The route is: gov.gr → Education → Registration in a nursery school → Registration in a nursery school of the Public Employment Service (D.YP.A.).

Beneficiaries are the parent, parents or guardians (guardians, guardians, etc.) of beneficiary children, who:

  • in the years 2023-2024, completed a total of 25 days of insurance in the e-EFKA and/or special maternity protection benefit and/or regular unemployment benefit and/or long-term unemployment benefit or
  • have been registered unemployed for at least two months on the application deadline or
  • are beneficiaries of the unemployment benefit for self-employed insured persons (OAEE, ETAP-MME and ETAA).

The Selection Criteria are economic and social. After the application process is completed, temporary lists of selected, substitute and excluded infants will be posted and beneficiaries will be able to submit objections.

DYPA participates in the action “promotion and support of children for their inclusion in pre-school education, as well as for the access of school-age children, teenagers and people with disabilities to creative employment services”, with the beneficiary organization E.E.T.A.A. SA, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and by national resources, within the framework of the Enterprise Pact for Regional Development (ESPA) for the programming period 2021-2027.

Parents, who meet the conditions for inclusion in the above program, are invited to submit the relevant application to it.
