A Greek-Canadian was the victim of a savage beating in Heraklion resulting in serious injury to him and the need for surgical and neurosurgical operations related to the restoration of his health.
According to information from the police, everything started in the early hours of July 16 at 2.00 am. in an entertainment center in the center of Heraklion.
The 49-year-old Greek-Canadian from Crete was there having fun with his family. On their departure, two to four people who were having fun in the same area, they unprovokedly attacked him, his partner and her son, hitting them with punches, kicks and other blows. The second son of his 49-year-old partner was also slightly injured.
The 49-year-old was taken to the hospital with a serious head injury and hematomas.
The police were charged with the incident and from the preliminary investigation the details of the perpetrators were identified concerning two Greeks aged 32 and 33, the first from Zoniana and the second from Malevyzi Heraklion, who are wanted.
