The 32-year-old woman was arrested in Boeotia who complained that she had been a victim of rape after she was kidnapped by four (4) unknown men. According to police sources, she admitted that she lied in her statement to the prosecutor in the presence of a psychologist.

She had previously refused to be examined although she was served with an order for an urgent forensic examination.

It is recalled that according to the 32-year-old’s complaint, she went on her motorcycle to a beach in Viotia following a date with a man she had met the previous night through a conversation on a social networking application and while she was on the coastal road, four (4) unknown perpetrators who were riding in a black vehicle, got out of it and after one of them forcibly closed her mouth and eyes, they took her into the vehicle against her will. Then, the perpetrators took her to an unknown deserted location, about 10 minutes from the place of the abduction, dropped her off and after 3 of them immobilized her, the fourth raped her. Subsequently, the perpetrators, after placing her back in the vehicle, abandoned her at a point approximately halfway from the initial abduction point, from where the woman left on foot. She then went to the Security department in Livadia where she filed a lawsuit.

In addition, the complainant had stated that throughout the incident an offender kept her eyes closed with a handkerchief that he put on her inside the vehicle, while another of his accomplices kept her mouth closed, however at the time she was boarded in the vehicle after her rape, she moved the scarf from her eyes and managed to see for a moment the perpetrator who raped her, some of whose external features she described, mentioning a tall, blond man, but not being able to identify him in a possible future identification process .
