Another tragedy occurred on the asphalt, this time on Friday night, with a 44-year-old victim in Ilia.

According to the information of the “Patris” newspaper, the unfortunate man was seriously injured when he lost control -under unspecified conditions as of the time- of the machine he was driving, and crashed into a vehicle in front, on the Gastouni-Bartholomou provincial road.

The collision was so fierce that the unfortunate man was thrown several meters away and severely bruised all over his body, the injuries to his head being what cost him his life.

The 44-year-old was initially taken to the local Health Center by EKAV ambulance, however, due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred to the Pyrgos hospital, with the doctors making superhuman efforts to keep him alive, while they also proceeded to intubate him.

Unfortunately, however, he did not succeed and ended up spreading unlimited sadness to his own people and to everyone who knew him. A month ago, his wife gave birth to their second child.

The circumstances under which this tragedy took place that claimed the life of the unfortunate 44-year-old is being investigated by the AT. Drunk.
