Ambulances, the Fire Brigade and the Traffic Police rushed to the scene of the accident
Another fatal traffic accident in BOAK, in the area of Galata Chania, occurred on Saturday morning.
According to the first data, we had a collision between a minivan and a car. As a result of the collision, four young people were trapped in the vehicle, and the assistance of the Fire Department was needed to free them.
Cretalive’s information states that two young men were pulled out unconscious, while the other 2 were very seriously injured, and were taken to the Chania Hospital. According to the latest information from SKAI, despite the efforts of the doctors, another young person ended up in the hospital.
According to the same sources of information in the minivan 19 people were on board, which were not seriously injured, but have abrasions.
Initial reports indicate that the collision occurred when, under circumstances that are being investigated, the vehicle veered off its course and entered oncoming traffic.
It is recalled that on Friday afternoon we had another traffic accident, again at BOAK, in the area of Siso, when a 58-year-old woman, passenger on the motorcycle, was fatally injured in the collision between a motorcycle and a truck, while the 55-year-old driver is being treated at the Venizelio Hospital of Heraklion.
