According to the authorized Municipal Councilor for Civil Protection actions Vassilis Moussidis, the response of citizens, institutions and companies to the call addressed by the Municipality of Thessaloniki is touching. Today the first 200 parcels depart, while the collection of humanitarian aidin the context of cooperation of the Municipality of Thessaloniki with the Ukrainian Consulate and the Pharmacists of the World, to be continued.

Specifically, the collection of items continues in the foyer of the City Hall. Citizens, agencies or companies that have the ability to support the effort can deliver assistance to City Hall 24 hours a day.

The items collected are indicative of the following: medical supplies (painkillers, anti-inflammatory drugs, gauze, bandages, first aid kits, alcohol, saline, etc.), warm clothing for children and adults, duvets and bed linen, toiletries diapers, etc.), baby food and baby milk, personal hygiene items, long-lasting milk and food, canned food, cereals and nuts.
