One year after the disaster, the damage has not been repaired – The children will be accommodated for free by the municipality of Larissa
The Public Employment Service (PYPA), as it had recently announced regarding the operation of the Larissa nursery school that was damaged by the bad weather Daniel, ensured from the beginning of the new school year, until the completion of the restoration work of the building, the accommodation of all of the selected children in the nursery of the University General Hospital of Larissa, always staying by the side of its residents.
Hosted children, at DYPA’s expense, will be transported by special means of transport for this age.
DYPA’s privately owned nurseries operate from September 1 to July 31, from 06:45 to 16:00, from Monday to Friday and are aimed at infants and toddlers from 6 months to 4 years.
For the harmonious psychosomatic and educational development of children, DYPA implements a daily program of creative activities in its nurseries.
The hosting is completely free and the selection criteria are economic and social.
As stated in the relevant announcement, DYPA participates in the action “promotion and support of children for their inclusion in pre-school education, as well as for the access of school-age children, teenagers and people with disabilities to creative employment services”, with the beneficiary organization E .E.T.A.A. S.A., which is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF), as well as by national resources, within the framework of the Enterprise Agreement for Regional Development (ESPA) for the programming period 2021-2027.
