Discounts on coasters and plane tickets will have the substitute teachers for the 2024-2025 academic year, in order to transition to the placement and service area.

In particular, as jointly announced by the Ministries of Education, Religion & Sports and Shipping & Island Policy, discounts of up to 50% are foreseen on the ferry tickets for deputy teachers.

1. Aegean Sea Lines: 50% discount for passengers and their vehicles in the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

2. ATTICA GROUP: 50% discount for passengers, their vehicles and two-wheelers for the period from 3/9/2024-9/9/2024.

3. Dodekanisos Sea Ways: 50% discount for passengers in the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

4. Fast Ferries: 30% discount for passengers and 20% for their vehicles in the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

5. Golden Star Ferries: 30% discount for passengers and 20% for their vehicles in the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

6. Goutos Lines (Carthian Shipping Company): 50% discount for passengers and their vehicles in the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

7. Levante Ferries Group: 50% discount for passengers and their vehicles in the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

8. Minoan Lines: 50% discount for passengers, their vehicles and bikes in the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

9. Saos Ferries: 50% discount for passengers, their vehicles and bikes in the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

10. Saronic Ferries: 30% discount for passengers until 2/7/2025.

11. SeaJets: 50% discount for passengers, their vehicles and bikes during the period 29/8/2024-6/9/2024.

12. Skyros Shipping Co.: 50% discount for passengers, their vehicles and two-wheelers during the period 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

13. Triton Ferries: 50% discount for passengers, their vehicles and bikes from 3/9/2024-6/9/2024.

As mentioned in the relevant announcement of the ministries, in the coming days other companies may be added to the above table, at which time a new update will be issued.

The discount will cover the movement of teachers from their places of permanent residence to the final island, where they undertake service.

Necessary supporting documents for the provision of the discount will be the relevant decision of the Ministry of Education, Religions and Sports, which mentions their recruitment, and their Police ID.

In addition, the express company will provide a discount of 30% for the issuance of ten (10) air tickets per interested party.

The procedure for receiving this discount is as follows:

* Beneficiaries will receive an SMS with a unique code today, Tuesday, September 3.

* On the page https://www.skyexpress.gr/el/newsletter/anaplirotes-ekpaideutikoi-2024 after filling in the necessary information (name, surname, email, phone and the code they received), they will receive in their e-mail them the relevant discount code, so that they can enter it during the ticket reservation/purchase process.

The Minister of Education, Religion and Sports Kyriakos Pierrakakis warmly thanks the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Christos Stylianidis, as well as the ferry companies and the airline express, for their immediate response to the request of the Ministry of the Interior for the provision of the above facilities.
