The Ministry of Development has suspended the operation of the company that certifies the amusement parks in northern Greece, including Pefkohori, where the 19-year-old lost his life.
On September 10, a decision was issued by the Directorate of Industrial Infrastructure and Business Environment of the Ministry of Development, which states that it was decided to suspend the activity of the company that certified the amusement park in Halkidiki.
The specific company seems to have given certifications to the particular amusement park while a relative of the owner (his father) seems to have signed the five responsible statements in May regarding the suitability of the games at the amusement park in Pefkohori.
In the meantime, three preliminary examinations, three prosecution investigations are underway, one of which concerns the mayor of Kassandra, Anastasia Chalkia, who, according to ERT, is scheduled to appear before the criminal judge today, to explain the responsibilities she are being investigated against her and concern both the control regime of the amusement park and the licensing of previous years.
