A thriller is underway at New Smyrnaas a 46-year-old man was found dead inside an apartment with a wound from a sharp object in the abdomen, according to the Police.
According to secure information from skai.gr, his sister called the social service of the municipality reporting that her brother is dead.
An alarm was immediately raised, the EKAV and the police were informed and they arrived at the scene.
The victim was found on the sofa, while the first information indicates that the knife has not been found.
According to information, his sister is disabled and a Special Olympics athlete.
The Police are awaiting the report of the medical examiner, who is at the scene. The first conclusion showed that it was a criminal act.
The victim’s sister is at the local Police Station, but is unable to give a statement.
According to the first reports, the man seems to have undergone an operation.
