Today, Monday, September 16, the submission of applications begins for employees who wish to participate in its new program DOUBLEto acquire and upgrade green skills.
The new Continuous Vocational Training (CVET) program is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with funding from the European Union – NextGenerationEU and aims to upgrade the knowledge, abilities and skills of private sector employees, according to with the needs of the labor market and the green transition of the economy.
The VET programs will be implemented through the process of the training voucher system. Each trainee will attend a theoretical training program, with a total duration of 80 hours, of which 12 hours will be carried out with live training, at least 48 hours with synchronous distance training and up to 20 hours with asynchronous distance training.
The training will be followed by certification of knowledge and skills, through certification vouchers, and those who succeed will receive the entire training allowance amounting to 400 euros (gross).

Those who meet the participation requirements will be added to the Register of Beneficiaries and, after the Register is announced, they will be able to choose the training program they wish to attend from a list of more than 600 training programs offered by more than 200 VET providers.
