A 68-year-old man was found dead with a knife in the shoulder blade this morning in Perama, Corfu, in the house where he lived with his 49-year-old Russian wife and their 11-year-old daughter.

The man was found dead by his wife, who was brought in and during the interrogation she confessed that she killed him with a kitchen knife.

The reasons that led her to this act have not yet been made known, however, according to information from skai.gr, the couple had engaged the authorities in the last two years for incidents of domestic violence.

The 11-year-old girl is under the care of the Police with a psychologist.

As reported by Corfunews.gr, during the autopsy in the surrounding area of ​​the house, the police found a bag in a trash can containing blood-soaked clothes of the couple’s 11-year-old daughter, as well as the knife.

It is noted that the tragedy was revealed in the early hours of Saturday when, at approximately 3:30 a.m., his daughter called the authorities and reported that her father returned to their home in Perama a while ago and is seriously injured, possibly stabbed, and has lost consciousness. .

Police rushed to the scene where they found the man lying on the floor of the bedroom, in a supine position, naked with a wound under the left collarbone.

In addition to his daughter, the 68-year-old’s wife was also present in the area, while, as it emerged from the investigation, the couple has engaged the authorities in the last two years for issues of domestic violence.

There were three bystanders. The first in 2022 when the husband sued the wife for domestic violence, and the other two in 2024 in January and February with both suing.
