In his letter, the commander of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, invited the Panhellenic Taxi Federation to receive and deliver to motorists the stickers for the POS, which inform passengers of the obligation of drivers to issue a receipt and accept card payments.

In particular, by 5/10 the Panhellenic Taxi Federation must inform the AADE of the method of receiving the signs, as well as the details of the person responsible for receiving them.

Those taxi owners who refuse to comply with the provisions of the law then the imposition of a fine 1,000 euros per violation.

In the event that either the Federation again refuses to receive the labels, or the five-day deadline passes, the corresponding obligation is transferred to the primary unions.

By deadline:

• ten (10) days (from the refusal or unpractical expiry of the deadline) the unions must notify the AADE of the method and details of the person in charge of receipt

• three (3) weeks from the receipt of the signs, their affixing to the taxis must be completed.

If the primary unions also refuse to receive or if this deadline also expires, the debtors must, within three (3) weeks, take care themselves, at their own expense, for:

• the production of self-adhesive labels, according to the specifications of the joint ministerial decision and

• affixing them to taxi vehicles.
