The minors – five 13-year-olds – who are accused of attempting to rob a seven-member group of their peers, last Saturday afternoon, in Kalamaria, were released after their apology to the 6th regular investigator of Thessaloniki, with the imposition of restrictive conditions and a reformative measure.
Criminal proceedings were brought against them for attempted robbery and two are additionally accused of having declared false information to the Police that they were brought in for the incident. One of them was reported to have hit one of the victims when they refused to hand over money, but there was no injury.
Apologizing before the 6th regular investigator, the accused allegedly said that they were “joking” and that they asked for 50 minutes, denying the charge of attempted robbery which is attributed to them.
With the agreement of the investigator and prosecutor, they were released with the imposition of the restrictive conditions of the ban on leaving the country and appearing once a month at the police station of the place of residence, as well as the reformative measure of supervision by a juvenile probation officer.
