Traffic regulations will be in effect on the ATHE motorway and specifically in the Stylida tunnels, with the aim of carrying out technical works.

Specifically, from Thursday 31 October at 07:00 until Saturday 23 Novemberat 14:00 the following traffic regulations will apply:

  • First phase: Complete blockade of the highway in the traffic flow towards Thessaloniki from the A/K Ag. Marinas (223rd km.) up to the Hemikombos (H/K) Achinou-Karavomylos (241st km.). Traffic will be conducted using an alternative route via the New Athens-Thessaloniki National Road. At the same time, there will also be a blockade of the entrance branch of the highway to the same traffic stream, specifically at the Uneven Junction (A/K) Ag. Marinas (223.4th km.) and to the Stylidas-Karavomylos A/C (231.9th km.).
  • Phase B: With the completion of the works of the A’ phase, and no earlier than 18/11, until Thursday, December 5 at 17:30 pm, a complete blockade of the highway in the direction of Athens from the Achinou-Karavomylos highway will be in effect (241st km) to A/K Ag. Marina (223rd km). Traffic will be conducted using an alternative route through N.E.O. Athens-Thessaloniki. At the same time, the entrance section of the highway to the same traffic stream at the Stylidas-Karavomylos A/C (231.9th km.) will also be blocked.

Traffic regulations will be long lasting and will have valid throughout the 24 hours.

In case of faster completion of the works, the traffic will be restored earlier than the planned time.
