​With the deadline for submitting property declarations ending on November 30, the completion of the Land Registry is entering the final stretch.

According to the latest figures, the land registration project has made impressive progress in the last year. From the 39% achieved in September 2023, the land registration rate, today, it has risen to 52%aiming to reach 75% by the end of February 2025. With land registration reaching 100% at the end of 2025, a national project, in progress for over three decades, is coming to an end!

Last chance for statements until November 30 in Crete, Corfu and Thesprotia

Citizens in Crete, Corfu and Thesprotia are invited to submit their statements by November 30.

Declarations can be submitted easily on the digital platform dilosi.ktimatologio.gr, even if they do not have all the necessary documents, or by visiting the Land Registry Offices that operate in each region.

At the same time, the pre-posting continues in Zakynthos, Kefalonia and Ithaca, with a deadline of December 18. Citizens of these areas can see and confirm their rights or, if they disagree, submit a “data review request” at ktimatologio.gr, specifically in the “Services for citizens – Pre-posting” section.

Land Registry Digital Map – A no-cost flagship project implemented in-house by Land Registry staff

An important step for public information is the Digital Land Registry Map (maps.ktimatologio.gr), which offers real-time data on the cadastral stages throughout the territory.

The President of the Hellenic Land Registry stated that: “This is an iconic application that would be the envy of even large countries that have been completing the Land Registry for years. This application was developed at no cost to the Greek taxpayer, internally by the Directorate of Geospatial Information“, and publicly thanked the executive of the Hellenic Land Registry, Mrs. L. Varela, who mainly implemented the application.

As Mr. Sakaretsios added “Soon, a new digital map-based tool will allow citizens to make easy corrections to their records, helping to make ownership data easier to manage and correct».
